Albert is a personal application with exactly one user, its owner, Yarin Sella. Sign-in is restricted to the owner's Google account; every other account is refused.
calendar.freebusy): when the owner is busy,
so that study sessions are not placed on top of other commitments. Event titles and details
are not read.calendar.app.created): Albert writes
study sessions only to a calendar it created itself. It cannot read or change any other
calendar.tasks): Albert creates tasks, and reads whether
they were completed, to keep its plan up to date.openid, email): only to confirm that the
person signing in to the web app is the owner.This data is used only to plan the owner's study time and to show that plan back to the owner. It is stored in a private database on a server controlled by the owner, and in encrypted backups in the owner's own cloud storage.
It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. Parts of the owner's own requests may be sent to a language-model provider (Anthropic) solely to interpret them; Google user data is not used to train any model.
Albert's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
